There are 3 main things you need to do, to keep your heart healthy:

Exercise
• Everyone nowadays tend to not do as much of exercising as 40
minutes a day.
• If you have a job, for example in an office, where you sit on a
chair for the whole day, it’s very unhealthy. So for that reason
it is advised to take breaks between work and do some easy
exercises.
• Sports, dances should be a part of our every day life.
Healthy and balanced diet
• A healthy diet is when you eat different types of food that
provides your body with different vitamins and nutrients.
• The food pyramid shows
that we need to eat a lot of
grains, vegetables and fruits,
and less of meat, dairy and
sugar.
Sleeping and reducing
stress
• It is very important for teenagers to sleep for 8-10 and adults
for 7-9 hours a day.
• Stress is also very bad for everyone. It is necessary to have a
hobby that makes you feel relaxed, for example maybe you
like painting or dancing and it could help you cope with stress.
• Yoga helps you to relax.

• The number of liters of blood that your heart pumps in a day is
23,000.
• The length of the blood vessels in your body is 100,000km
• Your heart is a muscle that beats around 100,000 times a day.
• The normal heart rate for adults are between 60 and 100 beats
per minute, but there are a lot of things that can influence the
normal heart rate.
Take care of your heart, don’t be scared
of the doctors and stay happy.
