Visitors’ safe working procedures

AS A GUEST OF ZIMBABWE LEAF TOBACCO COMPANY, YOUR HEALTH AND SAFETY IS OF


PARAMOUNT IMPORTANCE TO US.

YOU ARE THEREFORE REQUESTED TO PAY PARTICULAR ATTENTION TO ISSUES HIGHLIGHTED in this video
• Please read the following critical SHE Rules. Ask the SHEQ Department
should you require further explanation on any of the SHE rules.
Use designated toilet and ablution falities. Always wash your hands after using the toilet.

Use designated eating and drinking places. Always wash your hands before eating.

Liter should be dumped only in provided waste bins.


If you should be inside any of the plant buildings during either a fire drill or a real fire ,
please follow the instructions of the
Zimbabwe Leaf Tobacco employee that is in your company at that time.
• When driving within the company premises please use the designated
roads and observe the stipulated speed limit of 30km/h.
• When parking your car you are required to use the designated parking
areas.
• When smoking, use only designated smoking areas.
• Please do not enter any processing, engineering or tobacco storage
area, unless accompanied by an employee of Zimbabwe Leaf Tobacco
(ZLT) Company.
• Observe cell phone rules in the Factory Area.
• RESTRICTED _ AREA
• Please accept any personal protective equipment that you may be
requested to wear or utilize, it is for your own protection.
• Please do not stand too close to moving equipment. Observe warning
signs and ask before you touch any product.
• Forklifts and barrows operate within all areas of the processing
facilities. Please be aware of the likelihood of encountering fork-lift
and barrow movement.
• When leaving the company premises you may be subjected to a
security search at the exit gates. Please cooperate as this is intended
to safeguard your safety and security of your valuables in addition to
ZLT property.
• Please note that Zimbabwe Leaf Tobacco Company does not accept
liability for any injury incurred by any visitor to our facility, nor for any
damage that might be caused to any visitor's property as a result of
failure to comply with the conditions outlined in this brochure.
