NETIQUETTE DEFINED
- the rules of etiquette that apply when
communicating over computer networks,
especially the internet. The do's and don'ts of
online communication. Netiquette covers
both common courtesy online and the
informal "rules of the road" of cyberspace.

THE INTERNET
• At its core the internet is text, voice, graphic, and video
content.
• Websites deliver content to end users at designated
web addresses, url.
• Each domain, website, located at a url provides content
for users in its own design.
• Therefore, each website has its own netiquette.
SOCIAL MEDIA
NETIQUETTE
Social media is interactive news
with user Generated Content
(UGC) or Consumer Generated
Content (CGC). It is a medium for
interacting with people and
organizations on the internet.

1. Tell the truth.
2. Don't hate.
3. Share a lot.
4. Don't curse or swear.
5. Stay positive.
6. Don't digitally disrespect.
7. Bing /Google before you share.
8. Don't take it personal.
9. Respect others privacy.
10.Don't invite everyone.
• Facebook is social media because social media is personal
and it has the most people. 
• The way we “share” our stories and “Like” the ones our
friends “share” with us is Facebook Netiquette.
• Facebook is all about your fans and your friends. Like a
page rather than friending a fake profile because it's
dishonest to fake a profile and against the rules to friend
them.

• Know your friends.
• Use privacy settings.
• No shirtless pics.
• Decline friend requests.
• Work friendly updates.
• Respond to comments.
• Login regularly.

Wireless is Wi-Fi. Technically, Wi-Fi is a
network that uses high frequency signals to
communicate. Mobile phones, smartphones,
tablets, laptops, desktops, and other devices
use Wi-Fi to connect to the internet. It's a
standard for connecting electronic devices.

provide fee based email
