Brief Situationer
One of the farthest schools in Tiwi District.
The mode of transportation is by habal-habal.
A TIC school with 8 teachers (including the SH) and an enrollment of around 110
from K-6.
The class size ranges from 12 – 20 pupils.
The sitio is composed of different groups of houses or small communities (K-1,
WS-16, Baba, Crossing, School) where the pupils are coming from. These small
communities are usually distant from the school so kids either walk or they are
fetched by habal-habal.
Cellphone signal and internet connectivity is very limited.
There is a classroom shortage. Grades 3 and 4, and kindergarten class and office
share the same classroom (with division and own entrance).
There is no community library.

Prepare the school set up for the face to face (F2F) enrollment, in-school filling
out of LESF, and inquiries.
 For F2F enrollment process, assign one grade level per day. Only the parents
will be in school during the enrollment. Markers like chairs to observe social
distancing should be in place. Observe strict health protocol.
 For in-school filling-out of LESF during the enrollment, assign one room and
three focal teachers to handle the work. Print-out enlarged sample of LESF or
project the LESF on a white screen for ease of giving instructions.
(June 15-19, 2020)
This would result to an average of 10-12 parents in school per day.

Follow up the regular partners of the school. Look for new partners.
Share stories of success in school to stakeholders. Also, share ideas, long-term

Engagement of Stakeholders ( July - August, 2020 )

School Head’s Tasks Teacher’s Tasks

Recognize all stakeholders.
Parental involvement is very important in this modality. Assure the parents that
the school is always within their reach and that the parents and their children
will not be alone in the process. Make them feel the school’s presence even if
their children are not coming to school.
Coordinate with the LGU, Barangay Officials, Community Leaders. This is to
address leaners at home whose parents or guardians do not have capacity to
attend their kids.

Monitoring and Provision of Support
Preparation and submission ahead of time of daily
workplan instead of lesson by the teachers. (Activities
for the Day/Target/Actual accomplishments/Reflection)
From the submitted workplan, the SH may deduce the
support that can be extended to teachers.
From the submitted accomplished workplan, the SH
may look at the reflection part in order to know what
support can be given to the teachers.
Creating an open line of communication among
teachers, parents, and SH for ease of monitoring and
provision of support.
This is a work in progress. We will be exploring other
possibilities for sustainability especially of parental
involvement since they are our topmost partner in this
time and they need as much support as the learners
considering the context of SCES. We will still wait for the
final results from the enrollment and survey form. We
will also wait for the advise of DepED and other
concerned bodies.
Some of the plans are subject to changes.
