Introduction
Personality predicts academic achievement above and beyond
intelligence. The blend of personality traits of a student in school
can help them achieve their educational goals and perform as they
want.

Introduction
Background of the Stud
y
Personality has always been affiliated with one’s
academic standing. If you are an introvert, most
likely, you are expected to have low grades due
to minimal interaction with people. An extrovert
will be much expected to be on top because they

SAMPLING RESPONDENTS
• The sample in this study is a smaller group of
elements drawn through a definite procedure
from an accessible population. In relation to this,
the researchers have chosen 248 out of 647
ABM students located in PUP Condotel to be
included in conducting the research.

Conclusion
Almost all of the personalities don’t have a
01 significant relationship when grouped according to
sex and age.

The correlation of the personalities and their

02 general average, which the researchers considered
as their academic achievements, it resulted to a
significant relationship between these variables

These personalities affect one’s academic

03 performance and it is with the student on how he or
she will use their traits effectively. It may have
some negative effect but when it is used in the
right way it can be their greatest strength.
Recommendation
The researchers strongly recommend to the future
01 researchers to conduct further study related to the
correlation of the students' personality to their
academic standing.
Future researchers may include on their research
02 how the teachers evaluate their grades and
academic achievements based on their
personalities.

The researchers highly encouraged to use

03 quantitative and qualitative approach in conducting
their research to come up with a more relevant and
concise result.
