PRESENTATION STAGE
BRAINSTORMING :
Teacher shows pictures of Mr.Bryan’s activities for tomorrow
and elicit the activities by asking questions. E.g : driving,
exercising and etc.

REPITITION DRILLS :
The elicited ideas will be written on the board and students
pronunciation will be improved.

PLACING WORDS INTO A CONTEXT :


Teacher introduce and explains future continuous tense
sentences based on the pictures pupils recognized. Teacher
will provide students with a linguistic ‘model’ to apply the
concept they have recognized.
PRACTICE STAGE
CHORAL DRILLS :
Pupils repeat the sentences that teacher taught with correct
pronunciation.
FOCUS ON FORM :
Teacher explains the grammatical use of PL4 referring to the
future continuous tense to its function .
MONITORING :
Pupils in pair, will be given future continuous tense words and
they will make a sentence verbally. Pupils say out the sentences
with their pair. Pupils will monitored by teacher.
GAP – FILLING EXERCISE :
Pupils will be given a small paragraph to fill in the blanks with
future continuous tense .Pupils will change the root words in
the bracket to future continuous tense. Teacher discuss the
answers with pupils.
PRODUCTION STAGE
Teacher set up the classroom to play poison box game.

Pupils sit in a small circle. Teacher will play music. The


poison box will be passed among the pupils. Once the music
stopped, respective pupils who holding the box need to pick
a paper from the poison box.

There will be a root word (verb) in the piece of paper. Pupils


need to say sentences using the root words in future
continuous tense. Teacher will correct the sentence.
