As You Like It: Vocabulary Development


The class read the phrases with figurative language.
Students will be asked to make comparisons of the given item.
Examples will be provided if necessary.

Analysis.
a. The teacher will show a video clip to students.

b. Instructions will be given to students afterwards.


c. Answers will then be discussed processed within the class.

Abstraction
a. The teacher will further explain the clip to the class.

b. Short discussion of the topic will be done and the students will be asked to give their
own examples.
c. Another clip will be shown to the class to serve as the generalization of the days

d. Sets of questions will be given by the teacher to determine the students level of
