JOB ROLE SUMMARY

i. Serve as primary organizational contact during contract negotiations. Engage relevant


stakeholders in negotiation decisions.
ii. Review contractual performance of both parties to ensure compliance with terms and to
identify conflicts or changes requiring resolution at contract renewal.
iii. Analyse the contract terms and identify areas of possible risks and opportunities related to
the application of contract clauses. Implement the risk management process, review risk
register and check risk controls.
iv. Conduct contract strategy meetings to identify issues and client requirements, facilitate
pricing discussions, and obtain senior management input on timelines and deliverables.
v. Periodical Contract audit.
vi. Detailed engineering Budget estimation for the project.
vii. Initial budget estimation for any business plan.
viii. Periodical budget monitoring & tracking.
ix. Formulating / review & process various Service contracts/ agreements ensuring that all
having being fully appraised for viability; cost-effectiveness and justification with minimize
contractual claims & should comply with the strategic direction/policy of the organization.
x. Ensure all awarded contract progress and the achievement of contractual obligations are
accurately and effectively complied during the contract currency including statutory
obligation.
xi. Contract administration during project execution, ensuring that all aspects of the contract
during the bidding and execution phase are addressed with the objective of contributing to
maximise project revenues.
xii. Liaise with project team, participate to meetings, examine drafts, revise and file all
correspondence having a contractual relevance exchanged during project execution with
clients, partners, subcontractors and authorities.
xiii. Co-ordinate with the Project Manager / Contract Manager on aspects of Project execution
which deviate from contract requirements.
xiv. Manage the change order process from identification to resolution of change: prepare,
interfacing with involved functions, and negotiate any claims against or from client, joint-
venture partners and subcontractors.
xv. Ensure in liaison with the other functions that the required insurance coverage is timely put
in place and that required insurance certificates are provided/obtained from vendors,
subcontractors and joint-venture partners.
xvi. Assist the Project Manager / Contract Manager whenever a loss and/or damage falling under
an insurance programme occur. Subsequently follow up the evolution of the loss, providing
support for the orderly build-up of the documentary evidence to be used to substantiate the
insurance claim and attending the negotiations with the loss adjuster in conjunction with the
relevant insurance function.
xvii. Invoice management by checking milestone completion notices and other documents
required for payment meet contractual requirements.
xviii. Mitigate contract dispute and participate in arbitration procedure.
