 SCENARIO 1 A FRIEND
Thru Facebook Messenger Chat

We belong to gen z therefore nowadays text is not used much because we have so called
free data where it is more economical.
Situation:

A friend of mine went outside our subdivision

without wearing face mask and face shield. She
was outside for about an hour. Knowing for a
fact that the pandemic is not yet over. I, as a
concerned citizen saw and chatted her right away
through Messenger as the platform.
Uy sis! Kumusta? Nasa terrace ako ng bahay
namin kanina and I saw you went outside of your
house. Have you heared the news na inimplement
na nila yung pagsusuot ng face mask and face
shield kapag lumalabas at huhulihin daw yung
mga lalabag nito. By the way, I was actually
concerned sayo kasi lumabas ka na walang face
mask and face shield. I hope you get my point here
na sana when you go out of your house ake sure to
wear face mask and face shield. I was just worried.
Hmm don't forget to wash your hands, keep
distance, and stay healthy.
Purpose:

To remind a friend to always follow the

protocols to avoid the spread of the virus.
 SCENARIO 2 A Senior Citizen
Face to Face

Most senior citizens do not know much about technology so you

can deliver your message face to face.
Situation:

A Senior Citizen was loittering outside his/her

house. As I was observing, she/he was with their
amigos and amigas. i, as concerned citizen saw
him/her and talked to them right away.
Magandang Tanghali po lolo/lola! Maaari ko bang
malaman kung ano po ang ginagawa niyo ganitong
tanghaling tapat sa labas ng inyong bahay? Marahil
ay kanina ko pa ho kayo natatanaw dito. Wala pa po
kayong face mask at face shield. Pinapaalahanan ko
lamang po kayo lolo/lola na kung maaari ay
manatili na lamang po kayo sa inyong tahanan dahil
delikado ang lumabas ngayon lalo na at may
pandemya pa ho tayong kinakaharap. Lagi lamang
po sana tayong maghugas ng kamay at manatiling
malusog at malakas ang resistensya upang labanan
ang sakit. Sige po!
Purpose:

To inform the senior citizen that 60 years old and

above are not allowed to go outside since they
have a weak immune system.
 SCENARIO 3 .

A Grade Schooler
Face to Face

We chose face to face because the scenario here is barangay tanod is the
watchman and the grade schooler is the violator. he is only a grade schooler
therefore he will not go away far from their subdviision so the watcher here is
a barangay tanod. The tanod will talk to him grade schooler and it will be
preached in a good way therefore the tone of voice of the tanod should be
gentle and he will not punish it.
Situation:

There is a grade schooler who does not followed

the protocols by not staying at home and
without putting face masks.
"Boy, ilang taon kana? Mukhang minor kapa ha?
siguro aware ka naman na bawal pa kayong
lumabas ngayong quarantine. Para din naman ito
sainyong safety and safety ng mga nakakasama

 SCENARIO 4 The Mayor
Email or Facebook chat

He is the mayor of the town therefore the message should be formal

message so the one to be used to deliver the message is thru email. we
can also use facebook chat on his page, Mayor Isko Moreno himself
said that message his facebook page if you have any concerns.
Situation:

A group of Teenagers was gathering and not

wearing any mask or faceshield to protect them
from the virus, so I as a concerned citizen
reported it to The Mayor in order to take action
to lessen the growth of COVID cases.
Magandang araw po Mayor! Nais ko lamang po
ipaalam sainyo na madami pa din po ang
lumalabag sa protocol dito sa aming barangay.
Nakakabahala po dahil po sa patuloy na pagtaas
ng mga kaso ay mayroon pa din na iilan na
lumalabas kahit walang suot na facemask o
faceshield. ako po ay humihingi ng tulong upang
maaksyunan agad ito at nang sa gayon ay
mapigilan ang pagdami ng mga aktibong kaso
dito sa ating lungsod. Maraming salamat po
Mayor!
Purpose:

To inform the mayor that there are still

individuals who are not following the protocols
in order for them to take actions to those
violators.
 Always remember that communication is
more than just a mere passing of
information, it is an efficient and clear
exchange of thoughts, to inform, persuade,
or influence. Tone and nuance, together with
body language and posture, influence
effective communication. The manner in
how you convey your message affects your
intended purpose.
