Nostradamus
A Man Who Saw the Future
In Saint-Remy-de-Provence, France, in 1503 a child was born who
later treated victims of the plague in France and Italy. Not much is
known about his childhood. What we know is that he was a very
intelligent child, he managed to pass school quickly and without
difficulties. He studied Greek, Latin, Hebrew and Mathematics, and
his grandfather taught him astrology. At age 14 he entered the
University of Avignon to study medicine. This man became a world
celebrity, not because of his medical skills, but because of his
predictions. There were and there are people who believe that
Michel de Nostradame, better known as Nostradamus, could see the
future. His prophecies are known to this day and some still believe
that what he said hundreds of years ago will come true in the future.
He became known for his invention of the “rose pill,” which was
derived from rose hips (vitamin C) to provide protection from the

Un hombre que veia el futuro
En Saint-Remy-de-Provence, Francia, en 1503 nació
un niño que luego trató a las víctimas de la peste
en Francia e Italia. No se sabe mucho sobre su
infancia. Lo que nosotros sabemos es que era un
niño muy inteligente, logró aprobar la escuela
rápidamente y sin dificultades. El estudió Griego,
latín, hebreo y matemáticas, y su abuelo le
enseñó astrología. A los 14 años ingresó en la
Universidad de Aviñón para estudiar medicina.
Este hombre se convirtió en una Celebridad
mundial, no por sus habilidades médicas, sino por
sus predicciones. Hubieron y hay personas que
creen que Michel de Nostradame, mejor conocido
como Nostradamus, podía ver el futuro. Sus
profecías son conocidas hasta el día de hoy y
algunos todavía creen que lo que dijo cientos de
años atrás se hará realidad en el futuro. Se hizo
conocido además por su invención de la "píldora
de rosa", que se deriva de los escaramujos o
rosa mosqueta (vitamina C) para proporcionar
protección contra la peste bubónica.
