PREPOSITIONS
In British English, prepositions are normally included in
situations where in American English they are often dropped.
LETTERS
The format for letters is generally the same for both the UK
and the US. However, there are some differences concerning
the opening, where a comma or no punctuation is used in
British English (Dear Mr Harding,) but a colon is used in
American English (Dear Mr Harding:)
