RULES & REGULATIONS

1. Attendance

• Student must attend 80% of the classes

(minimum 11 out of 14 classes).
• Absence of 3 classes without valid
reason/ MC will result in student being
barred from final examination.
• Incident form will be issued for absence
without valid reason/ MC
 2. Punctuality

• Student must be punctual all the

time.
• Students who are found not punctual
will receive deduction during his/ her
presentation.
• Students who come late to classes
will be PUNISHED.
 3. Assignment

• Assignment must follow the format and

structure given by the lecturer.
• Assignment must be submitted on the date
of submission. Failure to submit assignment
on time will result in ZERO mark.
• Plagiarism is prohibited and will result in the
assignment be given ZERO mark.
 4. Tests/ mid-term

• Student must attend the test on the designated

day and time.
• Student will only be allowed to re-sit the test if
there is MC/ valid reason.
• Student who is absent during test will be given
ZERO.
• Copying in test is prohibited & will result in test
given ZERO & deduction of 15 demerit points.
 5. Bar

• Student will be barred to sit for final

examination for the subject due to 1 of
the following reasons:
– Attendance less than 80%
– Continuous assessment marks less than
half of 50% or 60%
 6. Attire

• Male students: • Female students:

– No ear ring, bangle or – No skirt above knee
chain – No heavy makeup
– No cap – No ripped jeans
– No slippers – No cap
– No long hair – No slippers
– No ripped jeans – No sleeveless shirt
– No sleeveless shirt – No shorts
– No shorts
 7. Others

• Handphone must be SILENCED during the class.

• Chatting is PROHIBITED except during discussion.
• All tutorial questions and homework MUST be
completed.
• No food EXCEPT water and sweets only. Bottles and
wraps must be put in the dustbin.
• Student must have notes during the lecture. Student
who does not have notes will be asked to leave the
class.
• Students who come late will be PUNISHED.
 8. Discipline

• Do not get involved in ILLEGAL or

IMMORAL ACTIVITIES – drug or alcohol
abuse, pre-marital sex, criminal gangs
etc.
• Maintain good discipline, behaviour,
attitude and cleanliness in the COLLEGE
and HOSTEL.
