PROCEDURE FOR FRESH ENTRY

► Workers at gate:- Contractor to be submit a list of workers as prior


information's to FABS , for issue of one day temporary pass.
► The workers will be taken to the contractor safety office & will under go
medical check-up.
► Check for all the record of insurance, Workmen compensation policy,
CAR policy, PF & labour license.
► Safety officer of contractor will give induction training to the worker in
induction training room.
► Documentation of induction training is to be carried out by contractor
safety officer and the same is to be submitted to FABS.
► After verification of Induction attendance, ID cards will be issued by
FABS / Tetra Pak.
► Induction registration forms no and identity card no. should match.
► Validity period of identity card will be for 90 days only.
► Necessary PPE’’s will be issued to worker and on job training will be
given to the workers on mockup by contractors.
► No worker will be allowed to travel in open vehicles inside the
premises.
Site Legal Requirement
Following legal documents are mandatory for all contractor.

Labour License :It applies to every contractor which


Employs 20 or more workers in any construction work.

Person Below 18 Years are Not Allowed

Provide identity card to the workers.

Medical Certificate is mandatory


Every Workman should undergo medical check
Up before join the site work

Safety Induction & Tool Box Talk
Each & Every Workman should undergo Safety Induction
Programme before entering at Site

Tool Box are mandatory for each workman at site.


This is to ensure all employees are aware of the hazards
associated with the workplace and the work they perform.

License for various jobs


►Electrician licences from authorised board
► Valid Driving licences for all type vehicle
►Cranes and lifting machine authorized certificate .

GENERAL SAFETY RULE
►Follow all Safety Rules and Regulations and all Warning signs set forth by the
Company. They are for your protection.
►Personnel, equipment, and materials shall enter and exit the site only through the gate
designated.
► Specific pass procedures and safety orientation shall be followed.
►The MANAGEMENT reserves the right to refuse admittance to any person, tool,
material or equipment, which is in the best interest to the site.
►Personnel, vehicles and equipment are subjected to search upon entering or leaving
and while on the site premises.
►Identification badges furnished by the site management must be worn in full view at all
times while on the site.
►Operators of vehicles and construction equipment shall observe all site traffic
regulations.
►Do not run. Running is permitted only during an emergency.
GENERAL SAFETY RULE
►Horseplay, fighting, gambling, and the possession or use of firearms,
ammunition, alcoholic beverages, and illegal drugs are prohibited.
►All necessary tools and equipment, including personal protective equipment,
shall be properly maintained.
►Defective tools and equipment shall be repaired or replaced immediately.
►All equipment shall be used only by employees who have been properly trained
and are otherwise qualified to use the tools and equipment safely.
►Only authorised personnel shall operate heavy-duty equipment or machinery.
►Safety guards and other safety features provided for all tools and equipment
must not be removed for convenience.
►Equipment and machines are designed for a specific purpose. Do not abuse or
misuse them.
►The Management retains the right to refuse or restrict the use of tools,
equipment, or chemicals on the site.

GENERAL SAFETY RULE

►Floor opening must always be covered or guarded.

► Inspect chain hoists, ladders etc. for safety before use.

► Scrap, trash, and other wastes shall be placed in designated containers.

► Work areas shall be cleaned up as the job progresses. Maintaining a clean work
area is your responsibility.

► Cords and hoses shall be routed in a manner that will present no tripping hazard -
preferably overhead.
GENERAL SAFETY RULE
► Know the location of the nearest fire extinguisher and use it only to extinguish
fires.

►Do not leave a load hanging unsecured or unattended.

►Cables and hoses should be removed out of confined spaces during lunch breaks
or any long work stoppage. Alternatively cables and hoses should be disconnected
or switched off at the respective supply source to minimise explosion hazards.

►The wearing of radio headphones or earphones while working is prohibited in the


work areas.

►All drivers must have valid driving license and obey the local Highway Code at all
times. The speed limit of site roads is 20 km/hr. Unattended vehicles shall be
parked in designated areas only.

►Report all accidents or near miss incidents immediately.

►Work in void space, manholes and etc. should be carried out in pairs, at least.

►Do not hesitate to ask about Safety and Health matters. Consult your supervisor or
EHS Officer for advice.
