Icons Timesaver

A little twist

April 2013
Overview

• An Iconography set has been created for use in information graphics examples
to help make your charts and graphs more visually compelling, or to help make
your subject matter more immediate.
• Iconography has been developed to represent the different business sectors
of Deloitte as well as the different stages of Deloitte employment.
• Please use only approved icon artwork. If a new icon is required,
its design must be approved by the Global Brand Team (
GlobalBrandingTeam@deloitte.com) before it is used in an application.

How to use iconography

There are several different ways to incorporate

Iconography in your information graphics. You
will require the help of a local graphic designer
for most of them.
• Iconography may be used as a single quantitative
unit in bar charts or comparative numerical layouts
• Certain Iconography shapes may be lengthened to
different heights and used in the place of bars in
bar charts
• Solid Iconography shapes may be used to
represent percentages or ratio in ‘color split’
applications
• The Iconography example you choose should
always be relevant to the topic, and the use of
Iconography should not undermine the accuracy
of the graph or chart
