Present Simple
Infinitive (V1) /Infinitive+s1.

Perbuatan sebagai kebiasaan

- I go to school everyday
Kebenaran umum
- The sun rises in the east
 Present Continuous
aux verb (to be) + present participle (Ving)

- Perbuatan yang sedang berlangsung

They are studying English now.
- Perbuatan yang sifatnya sementara
She is reading now but she Will write soon.
- Perbuatan yang dimaksud pada waktu yang akan datang
We are writing again in a few weeks.

Exception:
- Verbs of emotion: like, dislike, refuse, want
- verbs of senses: feel, hear, see, smell taste, etc
- Verbs of thought or opinion: believe, expect, forget, know, prefer, think etc
 Present Perfect
Have/has + past participle (V3)

Kegiatan di waktu lampau dan masih ada kaitannya sekarang

- She has taught English since five years ago
Peristiwa yang telah terjadi
- I have seen it
Perbuatan ulangan pada waktu tidak tertentu sebelum sekarang. Pakai before, already,
ever, never, yet
- The bus hasn't stopped yet
- I have heard this before
Perbuatan yang selesai dalam waktu yang singkat. Pakai at last, finally, just, recently
- The time has at last arrived
I have just spoken to him

*tidak boleh menaruh keterangan lampau setelah present perfect tense

Present Perfect Continuous
Have/has + been + present participle (Ving)

Untuk perbuatan yang dimulai di waktu

lampau dan masih berlangsung sekarang.
- I have been staying at his place this month.
- She has been studying English for over
three years.
