FACTORS ?

 It has been found out that the pupil’s difficulty in learning


may be due to many factors within the child himself .

SENSATION AND PERCEPTION :

Sensation and perception are the psychological factors which


help in learning in which sensation is the core of perception .

* These five sense are the


gateway of knowledge and
help in perception of various
stimuli in the environment .

AGE AND MATURATION :
Learning is directly dependent upon age and maturation .

* No learning can take place unless individual is matured enough to learn .

* Some childern can learn better at earlier age while other take more time to
learn the same content .

READINESS :

It is to be mentally ready to learn a skill .

MOTIVATION :
Motivation is considered to be the heart of the learning process ,
because it generates the will in individuals to do something .

INTRINSIC MOTIVATION :

arises from within the individual because it is intrinsically


rewarding .

EXTRINSIC MOTIVATION:

refers to our tendency to perform activities for known


external reward tangible ; for example ; money or
psychological for example :praise .

INTELLIGENCE :
Intelligence is a natural
capacity and ability which
helps the man to understand
and solve problems
according to the situation .

Learning can be influenced by


the intelligence of the learner
Generally , students with higher
IQ are supposed to learn faster
than those of lower I Q .

IQ tests do not measure the


amount of information you have
learnt but rather your capacity to
learn .

INTERSTS :
Interests of the students can facilitate their learning , as the child
grows older his interests diversify unlike during early infancy .

EMOTIONAL CONDITION :
* The emotional condition enhances the quality and speed of learning .
For example :

1)- joy , happiness and satisfaction are always factorable for any type of
learning .

Eg : if a child answers a question he/she must be praised , this will


increase their ability to show more better results .

ATTITUDE :
It is a way of thinking and the attitude of the child must be tested .
In which positive attitudes speeds up the learning process and
negative one slows down its speed .

APTITUDE :

It is a natural ability in which individuals acquire knowledgs or


certain skills through training . In which the student who has an
appropriate aptitude for a particular subject of study ,will learn better
and retain it for a long time .
