2.1 Field Inspection & Recovery Control

Purpose & Benefit

To Recover and Reduce Field Losses
Key Features
1. Field Inspection is done based on a specified target and
field inspectors will record field losses in the tablet
2. Field losses are comprised of unharvested bunches,
uncollected bunches and uncollected loose fruit
3. Once identified, field losses are recovered by designated
personnel
4. Photos of field upkeep taken during inspection could be
used for improvements
5. GPS location of field Inspection is shown on estate map
with date & time stamp for transparency

2.2 Harvesting Quality & Quantity Control
Purpose & Benefit
To improve Harvesting Quality (ripeness) and to
accurately record Quantity of harvested bunches on-site

Key Features
1. To ensure that the harvested bunches quantity are
entered from all FFB collection points on-site
2. The ripeness quality is also checked at all FFB collection
points on-site and entered into the tablet
3. GPS location of every FFB collection point is shown on
estate map with date & time stamp for transparency
4. Eliminates paperwork and manual recording of harvested
bunches, thereby reducing data entry errors

2.3 FFB Evacuation & Backlog Control

Purpose & Benefit

To reduce harvested FFB backlog, improve evacuation
performance & increase FFB freshness
Key Features
1. Ensures that all harvested bunches are evacuated to
the mill on the same day itself, if possible
2. The FFB quantity at the collection points and
transporter’s details and entered into the tablet
3. Backlog report from estate website will show details
and location of FFB which is not evacuated

2.4 Morning Muster & Attendance Control

Purpose & Benefit

To improve control on attendance and daily activities of
workers
Key Features
1. The tablet is used as a tool to record daily attendance
during the morning muster & verified at the field
2. Field workers can be assigned to specific fields, blocks
and activities
3. Reasons for absenteeism can be recorded in the tablet
4. Attendance record can be viewed on website and data is
tabulated daily after uploading
5. Reduction of paperwork and manual data entry errors
