ACTIVE & PASSIVE VOICE

Active voice
If subject and object function remaining at their proper place without
disturbing the order of the sentence, sentence is said to be active voice.
Example
She sings a song.
How did he solve the sums?
ACTIVE & PASSIVE VOICE

■  Passive voice
If subject and object change their proper place inverting the order of
the sentence, the sentence is called passive voice.
■ Example:
A song is sung by her.
How were the sums solved by him?
Active & passive according to the tense
■ Present Indefinite Tense:
Subject +main verb + Object.
Changes into
Object + is/am/are + 3rd form of verb + by + Subject.
■ Subject and object change place.
■ Example
■ Active:
He loves his son.
Passive: His son is loved by him.
Rules

■ 3. The cake is cut by Sara.
■ 4. The boy is ordered by the teacher.
■ 5. The house is decorated by the event manager.
■ 6. Papaya is not liked by me.
■ 7. A picnic is planned by them.
