GAUDI ARCHITECTURE PRIZE - INTERNATIONAL DESIGN AWARDS 2020

BRIEF

The plasticity of ruins allegorically leads to both natural or man-made calamities and the omnipresent threat of
evacuation of meaning from the landscape of human existence. Sublime violence, again either human, historical,
natural catastrophe, are processes of creative destruction that offer ruins as potential perspectives in the social,
psychological, emotional, environmental & ecological interpretation.
REWARDS & RECOGNITION

40+ awards to the most commendable projects. Winners in each category along with first and second runner-up
and possible honorable mentions at the jury’s discretion, will receive a cash prize and gain international
recognition through online publishing across various Architecture and Design platforms. Winners will also have
their entries issued in our Annual Design magazine.
ELIGIBILITY

Open to students and recent graduates of all nationalities, in the following disciplines and their affiliated fields: 
 Architecture
 Landscape Architecture
 Interior Design
 Furniture Design
 Urban Design
 Urban Planning
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

 - Maximum 2 entries per registration are allowed. Follow the Register guidelines.

 - Each should have 17 syllables divided, in three lines of five, seven, and five syllables respectively.
 - The entry should be sent to the following email: haiga.competitions@gmail.com with the subject line:
GAUDI Competition, 1st Cycle – Name of the Participant as a jpeg/png file with 14pt, Arial font, single-
line spacing Haiku text typed upon the Illustration/Photograph.
 - Medium of Submission is English Language.
 - All entrants must mention their social media handles with the submission
 - The submission should be an original work of the entrant and will go through a plagiarism test.
