BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY
• “Students and teachers are entering an unprecedented time of distance
learning,” says the team behind Teach for the Philippines (TFP), a non-
profit social enterprise working to provide quality education to all Filipino
students. “The traditional face-to-face classroom environment is replaced
with a home-based learning experience.”
STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM
This study aims to determine the factors of the impact of the new normal
education to the junior high school students of Cebu Sacred Heart College –
Carcar Campus (CSHC) and the significant effects to their academic
performance.

SCOPE AND LIMITATION
This research will be conducted at Cebu Sacred Heart College – Carcar Campus
(CSHC) – Junior High School students for this S.Y 2020 – 2021.
RESEARCH INSTRUMENT
This study aims to help students to be aware and identify the factors of
the impact of pandemic to their academic performance and it can
answer the question on how will they handle the New Normal strategy
of Education.
