This is a great drill to get the kids Tunnel of Love

used to hitting and making good form

tackles in close quarters.

Have each kid lay down facing away

from each other. On the whistle
(don’t use a snap count, the whistle
forces the defender to have to react
more quickly) Both kids will get up
run around the cones as shown
meeting in the middle with what
should be a pretty good collision and
the defender making a good form
tackle.
