In my experiment I am going to measure the reaction time for the left and right
hand of students in the class.
The students are going to work in pairs - one person drops the 1 metre ruler while
the other person catches it as fast as they can.
I will measure the distance the ruler dropped in centimeters.
I will repeat my experiment 3 times for each student. I will use this data to
calculate an average result for each hand. This will improve the reliability of the
experiment.
In order for my experiment to be accurate and valid I will ensure same ruler will be
used in the experiment. I will also conclude my experiment at the same time of day
with the same students. I will also make sure the ruler is not thrown with force. It
will be dropped straight down.
