Noun Phrase
A noun that
appears with
some other
words which
function to
modify that
noun.

Consists Two things
1)Main verb 2) A helping verb
Example: The brown cow is Jumping
over the rusty fence.

A verb phrase can be thought of like a boy and raft.

himself…. But the raft(helping verb) makes it
better for him.

 When you get to the sign, take a left.
 We climbed up the hill to see the view.
