Case Scenario
Fatumata is a refugee from Ethiopia working at
Cargill High River in the packaging area.
She came to Canada in 2012 and she was very
happy to be working at Cargill High River
Meat Processing Plant, because without any
higher education and basic English she was
earning $19.00 per hour and $1 more for extra
hours.
She and her husband are the only income for
their parents back in their country.
The complete area got sick, but they continue
working because they were pushed to work
and the main reason, as part of the union
agreement, workers just have 3 days leave for
sickness.
How you convinced Fatumata to prevent to get
sick again and stop spreading COVID-19
between her co- workers?
