 Troubleshooting

Regulator  Event:
Valve
 Output flow, even with Fleximag Plus
off;
 Fleximag Plus without output flow;
 Vibration.

 Corrective Action:

 Measure regulated pressure;

 Remove and check if it’s necessary to
replace the regulator valve pressure;
 Adjust regulator pressure if
necessary.
 Troubleshooting

NEB/TGI Valve  Event:

 Audible leaking at the top of solenoid;

 Valve do not open;
 Overpressure valve do not close, causing
leakage on it.

 Corrective Action:

 Disassemble the solenoid O-ring (top) and

check if it has damage signal or it is blocking
the output and check if it is necessary to
replace the o ring;
 Damaged or leaking solenoid, check if it is
necessary to replace it.
 Troubleshooting

Proportional
 Event:
Valve
 With the Proportional valve off
generates flow;
 Do not generates flow.

 Corrective Action:

 Check the cables and connectors;

 Replace the Proportional valve.

Overpressure valve
 Event:
 Leakage in the overpressure valve
 Corrective action:
 Check the voltage in the overpressure
connector.

SOBREPRESSÃO
 Check the cables.

 Replace the overpressure valve.

Unidirectional valve
 Event:
 Leakage in the unidirectional

 Corrective action:
 Replace the o-ring
 Replace the unidirectional valve

High Pressure
 Event:
Sensor
 Wrong read pressure;
 Do not measure the pressure.

 Corrective Action:

 Check the cables and conectors;

 Replace the do sensor pressure
 Troubleshooting

Oxygen
 Event:
Cell
 Oxygen cell do not calibrate;
 After calibration the value is out of range;
 Leakage.

 Corrective Action:

 Check the cable and connectors;

 Check the integrity of the cell's screw;
 Check if it was correctly mounted
(damaged O-ring);
 Check If it is necessary to replace it.
 Troubleshooting

Internal Flow
 Event:
Sensor - TSI
 Inspiratory flow is out of rangue;
 Did not read the Inspiratory flow;
 Others.

 Corrective Action:

 Check the fow sensor cable;

 If necessary replace the flow sensor.
 Troubleshooting

Linear Actuator
 Event:

 “Threading pin”
 Pin without force;
 Pin always triggered;
 High exhalation resistance.

 Corrective Action:

 Replace the Linear

actuator.
 Troubleshooting

Exhalation Valve
 Event:
with Diaphragm
 Failed at Leak test during checking test;
 Vibration on Flow Graphical.

 Corrective Action:

 Check accommodation of the diaphragm

at exhalation valve;
 Check the integrity of the diaphragm;
 Replace the exhalation valve.
 Troubleshooting

Battery-Equipment  Event:

 Battery do not charge;

 Battery life too short.

 Corrective Action:

 Check the temperature sensor;

 Check the battery connector;
 Check the input DC - Voltage and the connector;
 Check the correct function protection circuit;
 Check the consumption 9V and 12V
 Troubleshooting

Display / Vent PCB  Event:

 The display does not work;

 Touchscreen does not work;
 Message: Inoperative device non battery;
 Do not upgrade firmware;
 Communication failure;

 Corrective Action:

 Check internal cables from display

 Try to calibrate the touchscreen;
 Check the flat cable from display;
 Check the battery of Vent board;
 Check internal cables connection and replace it if necessary;
