Greetings

NAMASTE TO ALL THE RESPECTED GUARDIANS.

I would like to thank you all for being present in this parents’ meeting.

Today, I am going to talk about the change that I am planning to bring in

the teaching and learning activities.
Foundation age

 Early childhood development (ECD) encompasses physical, socio

emotional, cognitive and motor development between 0-8 years of age.
 It is very crucial for the overall development of a child.
 What we plant in this age, we harvest the same.
 The early years are critical, because this is the period in life when the brain
develops most rapidly and has a high capacity for change, and the
foundation is laid for health and wellbeing throughout life. Nurturing care –
defined as care that is provided in a stable environment, that is sensitive to
children’s health and nutritional needs, with protection from threats,
opportunities for early learning, and interactions that are responsive,
emotionally supportive and developmentally stimulating – is at the heart of
children’s potential to develop.
Holistic development

 Development of intellectual, mental, physical, emotional and social abilities in a

child so that he or she is capable of facing the demands and challenges of
everyday life.
 It is a comprehensive approach in learning which aims to develop multiple facets
or abilities of a human brain.
 Holistic growth aims at the development of physical capabilities, intellectual
abilities, cognitive or mental abilities, emotional abilities, and social skills.

Play-Way Method

 A complete package that enables overall development of the child by developing

in terms of feeling, intellect and skills parameters.
 Not only focuses on subjective development, but the emotional development as
well.
 Playing as the driving force as the entire learning method revolves around
activity-based learning.
 Encourages expression and creative skills among children.
Why Play-Way Method

 It turns entire learning into fun element by involving play in it.

 It develops the feeling of satisfaction among children.
 Every child is given equal exposure and ample of opportunities for learning and
participations.
 Along with knowledge, it includes various other skills in a child.
 It helps children to connect with peers and teachers.
 It facilitates overall and holistic development.
Changes that I want to bring
 The way of lesson planning
 Teaching learning activities
 Daily routine
 Sitting arrangements/ classroom management
 Training to the teachers

Why?
For effective learning and holistic development of a child/student.
Conclusion

If we all want to see our children learn and group up properly, we should dare to
bring the changes in our teaching learning strategies. Only then overall development
of our children is possible. I believe that you all respected guardians will support me
and walk side by side to implement these changes in our school.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
