INTRODUCTION

HYDRAULIC JACK:
• A hydraulic jack is a device that is used to lift
heavy loads by applying a force via
a hydraulic cylinder. Hydraulic jacks lift loads
using the force created by the pressure in the
cylinder chamber.
PARTS USED:

 4 syringes
 1 large syringe
 Tubes
 Wooden blocks
 two ball barring
SPECIAL FUNCTION OF ELEMENTS
USED

WOODEN BLOCK: provide support for the

structure and give a strength to the hole
assembly.
Ball bearing: behave like a non return valve.
SYRINGS: behave like a pump, by-pass and
hydraulic ram
TUBES: provides flow between two connections.
SELECTION MATERIAL

• We select wooden base so we can reduce weight.

• We select syringes to reduce cost.
• Used small pipe because pressure have inverse
relation with area

PASCALS LAW
Pascal's law says that pressure applied to an
enclosed fluid will be transmitted without a
change in magnitude to every point of the fluid
and to the walls of the container. The pressure
at any point in the fluid is equal in all directions.
