Importance of Concoction
1. Reduce farm cost

2. Promotes safe environment

3. Prevents the depletion of soil nutrients and

produce good quality of plant and animals.
The 8 kind of Organic Concoction
• Fermented Plant Juice (FPJ)
• Fermented Fruit Juice (FFJ)
• Fish Amino Acid (FAA)
• Tea Manure (TM)
• Oriental Herbal Nutrients (OHN)
• Calcium Phosphate (Calphos)
• Lactic Acid Bacteria Serum (LABS)
• Indigenous Mircoorganism (IM)
Fermented Plant Juice (FPJ)

This concoction is
obtain from different
young plant materials
and fermented of 7
days.
Ingredients in making Fermented Plant Juice
• Kangkong
• banana shoots
• alugabati
• Molasses

Note: Choose only two kinds of

Plant and mix it with molasses.
Materials to be use in making Concotion
1. Rubber gloves
2. Knife
3. Chopping board
4. Pail
5. Rubber band
6. Manila paper
7. Net bag
8. Weight scale
ACTIVITY #2
• Cover the pail with manila paper and seal it with the rubber band
• collect the mixture by squeezing the net bag. Gather all the liquid in a
clean dark container and place it in a cool dry place.
• Prepare the plant materials and chop it into an inch size
• Place the net bag inside the pail
• Mix thoroughly and place the mixture in a net bag
• Place the mixture in a cool dry place and let it ferment for 7 days.
• Mix the plant materials and molasses with the ratio of 2:1
Procedure in making FPJ
1. Prepare the plant materials and chop it into an inch size
2. Mix the plant materials and molasses with the ratio of 2:1
3. Place the mixture in a net bag
4. Place the net bag inside the pail
5. Cover the pail with manila paper and seal it with the rubberband
6. Place the mixture in a cool dry place and let it ferment for 7 days.
7. After seven days of fermentation collect the mixture by squeezing
the net bag. Gather all the liquid in a clean dark container and place
it in a cool dry place.
Usage of FPJ
• It is a natural growth enhancer for plants.
• Mix 1 tbsp. of FPJ in a one litter water and spray to plant shoot and soil
around the plant.

• Increase microbial activities in gastro-intestinal tract.

• Mix 1 tbsp. of FPJ in a one litter water and give to the animals
Fermented Fruit Juice (FFJ)

• FFJ is made from sweet ripe

fruits, fruit vegetables and root
crops. These are thoroughly
blended with crude sugar or
molasses and fermented for a
short period of time.
Ingredients in making Fermented Fruit Juice (FFJ)

• Any fruit the is not sour like,

banana, papaya, or squash
• Molasses
Procedure in making FFJ
1. Chop the Fruit materials into small sizes
2. Mix with molasses with the ratio of 1:1
3. Mix thoroughly and place the mixture in a net bag
4. Place the net bag inside the pail
5. Cover the pail with manila paper and seal it with the rubber band
6. Place the mixture in a cool dry place and let it ferment for 7 days.
7. After 7 days of fermentation collect the mixture by squeezing the net
bag. Gather all the liquid in a clean dark container and place it in a
cool dry place.
Uses of FFJ
• enhance the soil and increase production of leafy plants in gardens,
fermented fruit juice is used to increase sweetness and yield of fruiting
plants as well as building healthier soil.
QUIZ: Prepare ½ crosswise
•1 – 2 what are the raw ingredients to make
FPJ?

•3. what is the main ingredient in making FFJ?
