ABOUT NMIMS BANGALORE

• Located on an expansive AICTE-approved campus off Bannerghatta Road, NMIMS Bangalore, in the
seven years since its inception has carved a niche and stands out to be counted as one of the leading B-
Schools in the country. In its pursuit for excellence, NMIMS Bangalore has been able to create an apt
mélange, which not only has a measured focus on academics but also on developing other key skills
vital to churn out ready leaders for the future. The Institute boasts of specific specialisations in Finance,
Marketing, Operations and HR, with the recent addition being in the domain of Analytics. Keeping in
sync with the industry requirements in terms of skill-sets, the institute has come out with a separate
specialisation for Analytics and is touted as a centre of excellence in Analytics.

ABOUT INTUITO

• Intuito, The Analytics club of NMIMS Bengaluru was founded in 2014. It was created with the intention
of bridging the gap between the students and the industry.
• The goal is to turn data into information and information into insight. Insight defines Intuito. The
objective of this club is to promote knowledge sharing by driving the engagement of the students in the
field of Analytics.
• There are many steps taken forth to accomplish this vision by the means of Analytics Day, guest
sessions, workshops and a lot of on-campus events to foster the interest among students for Analytics.

ABOUT ANALYTICS DAY

• The journey of ‘Analytics Day’ started in 2010 and Intuito has been successful in conducting this as the
flagship event since then. Every year the event has a theme associated with it. The event is graced by
the presence of corporates from industry giants like Walmart, Amazon and SAS. This PAN India event
comprises of hackfest, quizzes, panel discussions and presentations.
• Analytics day 2K18 was grand success with a first of its kind 16 Hour hackfest organised by Intuito in
association with SAS.
• Participants from all IIMS and top engineering colleges was witnessed and the event was a grand
success.
