Preface

The report has been prepared as a part of my “Industrial Training”, as a part of


B.Tech curriculum.
The report is prepared with the view to include all the details related to Industrial
training that I carried out.

Details of all the instruments used for construction of rigid pavements and works
which were carried out during the construction of rigid pavements are mentioned
in this report.

I would like to express my special thanks of gratitude to Mr. Faheemul Islam
Kirmani sir for continuous guidance and support throughout the
preparation of this Industrial Training Report. Competition of this report

Construction of Rigid Pavement
Slump: 15-25 , M30, Temperature of mixture – 27 Degree Celcius

• Membrane is put between Dry Lean
Concrete(DLC) and Granular Base.
• Height of DLC and Granular Base is 150 mm
• Granular Base is put below DLC.

CONCLUSION
My industrial training at PWD, Agra helped me to
practically understand the various works which are
conducted at large sites and also helped me to
understand various challenge which engineers face
while construction of Rigid Pavements.
I practically saw various tests of materials and quality
which are conducted at sites and this helped me to
understand the concepts very well.
