Bamboo Inn motel has eight staff and have a different schedules, per person
works for 10 hours. They are the one who is responsible to input information manually
in their system.
• Staff – a person responsible to assist and answer all the inquiries of the customer.

1. There are possibility that the customer go to the wrong counter.
2. There are possibility to have misunderstanding about the staff and the customer.
3. There are possibility to consume a time in checking the available rooms.
4. Customers need to fill up the registration form manually which may be hard to understand
because of their penmanship.
5. There are possibility that the discount can’t apply it because the staff forget it.
6. There are possibility that the items and foods are not available.
7. There are possibility to make mistake in manually computing the room accommodations.
8. There are possibility to loss the original receipt that they use for recording purposes.
9. There are possibility that the staff bring the customer in the wrong room.
10. There are possibility to loss the receipt that can cause to confusing counting about the profit
every month.

STEPS: (PROPOSED PROJECT)
1. The customer will go to the counter to inquire and check the room rates and availability.
2. The receptionist will ask if the customer wants to check-in or inquire about a reservation.
3. If the customer wants to check in, the receptionist will ask for the type of room that the
customer wants to avail.
4. The receptionist will check the available rooms on the computer.
5. If the customer has chosen a room, the system provides some personal information to
answer.
6. The receptionist will input all of the personal information of the customer in the computer then
the customer needs to pay right away for the room so that they could check-in, then the
customer will receive a receipt on that transaction.
7. If the customer wants to reserve a room, the receptionist will check the computer and look for
the available rooms.
8. If the customer choose a room, The receptionist will input all of the personal information of
the customer in the computer then there will be a receipt that the customer receives for that
transaction if they pay in advance.
9. The receptionist can easily view the booked, available and occupied rooms easily in the
computer.
10. They can also view the daily, weekly, monthly and inclusive dates report easily.
