OBJECTIVES

• The students will increase their vocabulary with worksheets and games
that are designed to have students rewrite the words, alphabetize the
words, unscramble the words and write sentences using the vocab words.
• Standard: Vocabulary Acquisition and Use
• L.3.4 Determine or clarify the meaning of unknown and multiple-
meaning word and phrases based on grade 3 reading and content,
choosing flexibly from a range of strategies.
TODAY’S GOALS

Today we’re going to work on our vocabulary


that is listed in our novel packet!
Our main goal is to be able to find the definition
of words using a dictionary and context clues!
