Board Race
• We use it for revising vocabulary; grammar
• Who it's best for: Appropriate for all levels and ages
• It is a great way of testing what our students already know
about the subject we’re about to teach.
How to play:

• Split the class into two teams and give each team a colored marker.
• If you have a very large class, it may be better to split the students into teams
• Draw a line down the middle of the board and write a topic at the top.
• The students must then write as many words as we require related to the
topic in the form of a relay race.
• Each team wins one point for each correct word. Any words that are
misspelled are not counted.
• The winners can get a prize. Chocolates or something related-

1. List adjectives on board


2. Make columns for “ed” and “more”
3. Break students into teams
4. Students write each adjective under correct column depending on which form it takes.
5. The ss run back to their team and hand the marker to the next person in line who runs who runs up to the board
and does the same . The game continue until all the words are categorized
6. The team that finished first wins provided their answers ae correct.
