Introduction

 Drug abuse and addiction are serious social and


medical problems that affect people all over the world.

 Abuse of drugs not only poses a threat to the


individual’s health but consequently gives rise to
socioeconomic problems.

 Therefore, the purpose of this research was to acquire


a better understanding from a sociological standpoint.
Importance Of Society With Respect To Drug Abuse

 Families and schools have a significant role in one's social life.

 Peer impacts have a substantial impact on one's likelihood of using


alcohol, tobacco, and a number of other substances.

 It's no wonder that drug use of various kinds is so ubiquitous because we


have a drug culture in general
RAMIFICATIONS

• Drug addiction is not a one-person phenomenon, and it creates a domino effect


on the lives of those around them.

• Unfortunately, drug addiction is still in society. Once an addiction starts, it can


become very difficult for you to come back from it.
CONCLUSIONS

● It is relevant to know that with developing world drug abuse


as a problem got much relevance and its data distribution is
complete today.

● It is relevant to know that Drug abuse among people result


from influence from peer group pressure and friends.
