 DUCTABLE A.C.
The ductable split units help in cooling the
conditioned space with the duct network. These
units require less floor space. As the name
suggests, the ductable split units work basically
through a series of ducts in order to keep you
cool during the hot summer days. They consist
of an internal fan coil which is installed in the
roof or outer area of the building.

Through the ducts, it keeps heating and cooling

each of your room individually. This is called
zoning. The thermostat present on the wall will
allow you to select the preferable temperature
and other settings.
  WORKING PRINCIPLE
A ductable air conditioner is a
split air conditioner in which
conditioned air from the indoor
unit is passed into the room using
circular/ oval/ rectangular
ducting. Ducting is fabricated
either using galvanized steel or
pre-insulated boards, or fabric. A
ductable air conditioner is
normally installed either above
the conditioned room or outside.

Return air is collected from

the room and is passed back to
the air conditioner. The space
where the air is conditioned and
the room are always kept air
tight except for some measured
volume of fresh air which is
needed based on defined
ventilation standards.
  WORKING PRINCIPLE
The outdoor units are using scroll
compressor which has better energy
efficiency and quiet in operation.

TEV, Thermostatic expansion valve

regulates refrigerant flow to carter
variation in heat load and make the
syatem more efficient.

Filter drier for liquid line protects

refrigeration and air conditioning
system by removing high moisture,
acids and solid particles. Scroll compressor

Metallic PCB box are used to

ensure safety from fire.

The water that air conditioning unit

produces, needs to go somewhere or
you will end up pouring through the
ceiling so drainage pipes are installed
from the indoor unit, to drain away
water efficiently, into roof gutters.

  WORKING PRINCIPLE
These ducted ac even works at high
ambient temperature of 48oC without.

Superior air distribution is possible in

these ac system.

To fit in tight ceiling spaces few models

are available with 450mm only. But the sizes
varies according to goverment norms.

These are avialable with 50m maximum

length and 30m maximum level difference to
cover medium and large scale builings.
