1 )Global warming term.

2)Causes.
3)Green house effect.
4)Precautions.
5)Survey of Goverments.
What is Global warming?

 A gradual increase in the overall temperature of the

earth's atmosphere generally attributed to the greenhouse
effect caused by increased levels of carbon dioxide, CFCs,
and other pollutants.
Causes

 Burning coal, oil and gas produces carbon dioxide and nitrous oxide.
 Cutting down forests (deforestation). Trees help to regulate the climate by
absorbing CO2 from the atmosphere. So when they are cut down, that
beneficial effect is lost and the carbon stored in the trees is released into the
atmosphere, adding to the greenhouse effect.
 Increasing livestock farming. Cows and sheep produce large amounts of
methane when they digest their food.
 Fertilisers containing nitrogen produce nitrous oxide emissions.
 Fluorinated gases produce a very strong warming effect, up to 23 000 times
greater than CO2. Thankfully these are released in smaller quantities and are
being phased down by EU regulation.
GREEN HOUSE GASES EFFECT:

 Some gases in the Earth's atmosphere act a bit like the glass in a greenhouse, trapping the sun's
heat and stopping it from leaking back into space.
 Many of these gases occur naturally, but human activity is increasing the concentrations of
some of them in the atmosphere, in particular:
 carbon dioxide (CO2)
 methane
 nitrous oxide
 fluorinated gases
 CO2 is the greenhouse gas most commonly produced by human activities and it is responsible
for 64% of man-made global warming. Its concentration in the atmosphere is currently 40%
higher than it was when industrialisation began.
 Other greenhouse gases are emitted in smaller quantities, but they trap heat far more
effectively than CO2, and in some cases are thousands of times stronger. Methane is
responsible for 17% of man-made global warming, nitrous oxide for 6%.
Ozone layer depletion The greenhouse
effect on Earth. Some incoming sunlight is reflected by Earth's atmosphere
and surface, but most is absorbed by the surface, which is warmed. Infrared
(IR) radiation is then emitted from the surface. Some IR radiation escapes
to space, but some is absorbed by the atmosphere's greenhouse gases
(especially water vapour, carbon dioxide, and methane) and reradiated in all
directions, some to space and some back toward the surface, where it
further warms the surface and the lower atmosphere.
Increase in average tempreture.

 Due to negative human activity ,the over all temrature of the earths
atmosphere has raised to a considerable amount which leads undesirable
outcome such as:
Accelerating sea level
Harm caused to human
Accelerating sea level

 As a result of the earth getting warmer ,ice is melting globally especially at

the earths poles .
 When huge amount of ice melts it turns into ahuge amount of water and thus
raising the sea level.
Consequences

 Low lying islands are being submerged by overwhelming amount of sea water.
 Many arctic wildlife animals such as polar bears are losing their icy habbit in
which they are unable to survive without it.
Harm caused to humans.

 The rising tempreture of the earth  For example, in a 2014 study it is

can cause serious repercussion to said that depths from heat has

human body is not capable of the last decade.
