Training Kit

TAKE NOTE:
 Be formal
 Plain background.(White, if possible)
 Lamp or light. (If you have a gloomy room)
 Computer/Laptop.
 Good Headphone. (No mobile headset)
 Quite place. (Silence)
 Smile like there’s no tomorrow.
 Prepare your resume.
 Check your audio and camera, if it’s working properly.
 Be online, 1 hour before the interview to prepare.
 Check your internet speed. (at least 3mbps)
Interview with the HR (Group or 1on1)
 Interview through Skype
 Open your camera
 Ask HR, if they can hear and see you well.
 You will share your screen to the HR (They see everything in your screen)
 Don’t speak so fast. Relax.
 Impress the HR by your communication skill but don’t over do it.
 State 2-3 sentences only to avoid grammar mistakes
 Don’t be so serious. Please show your killer smile.
Possible Interview Questions:

 - Tell me about yourself?

 - What are you interests?
 - Why should we hire you?
 - Do you have experience in teaching?
 - What kind of student would you like to teach? why?
 - What do you know about the company ( do some research)
 -What are your strengths and weaknesses?
 - Why did you choose this company?
 - Are you planning to make this your permanent job?
 - What must a teacher possess?
 How did you know about this company? ( Say my name and tell them that I’m your friend)
Grammar Test

 5 items
 Don’t surf the net, the HR can see what you’re doing.
 Don’t use your mobile phone, the camera is open.
 Don’t get nervous, if you don’t know it. Just try it. Don’t say, you don’t know.
 You are going to type it using the chat box.
 Take your time, don’t rush.
 PS: The grammar test is a piece of cake. (If you keep calm)
5 MINUTE DEMO CLASS ( NOTE )

 The lesson will be provided by the HR

 Download the lesson and save it in your Desktop. ( If student says, I don’t have the lesson,
send it)
 If student can’t open the book (Share your screen)
 The mock lesson is just for 5mins (start on time and end on time)
5 minutes mock class with a kid
PS: Just the HR, pretending. (less a minute)

B. Greeting

4. Introduce yourself (Brief)
Lesson Proper ( 3 minutes )
 The lesson is provided by the HR
 They will give you 5 mins to prepare (you need to call student on time)
 Discuss the lesson slowly
 Correct the student’s mistake immediately.
 Brief explanation, don’t elaborate.
 Use simple words. Speak slowly and as simple as you can.
 Use repetition and imitation ( Speak after me)
 Praise the kid (Very good! Wonderful! Good job)
 SMILE! LAUGH! BE JOLLY! BE ALIVE!
 PS: You don’t have to finish the lesson. Just finish what you can. As long as the kid learned
one or two.
 Ask the kid if they have any questions. Important!
Class remarks ( 1 minute )
 1st of all, praise the kid.

B. B. Suggestions
1. Suggest ways to improve the kid’s skill
 You can read some English books to enhance your vocabulary
 You can watch some English videos for kids
 Practice speaking through speaking with friend capable of speaking the language ( depends
on you )
Moment of Truth ( Hired or not? )
 If they let you proceed to the training that means you are hired.
 They’ll be giving you the skype Id of your trainer and supervisor. Add them.
 You will have 2 hours of training within that day or the incoming day.
 You will have your own trainer(she’ll give you the schedule)
 Always send your supervisor and trainer a message like ( goodmorning etc, just to remind
them that you are waiting for them)
 Your supervisor will give you your very own Tutor account. Wait for instructions.
 After your training, you will have a final demo, with a college student. (real student)
 You can ask all your concerns from your trainer and supervisor.
