Maintenance and Reliability (MR): Introduction

Maintenance and Reliability are important factor in product and service

quality. It can be used as a strategy for successful competition in the
marketplace. It plays a critical role in preserving and prolonging equipment,
systems, and assets life cycle.

Maintenance Evolution: from necessary evil to an edge for competition

• Prediction and identification of failure,

• Planning and scheduling resources for repair,
• Scheduling & executing the repair,
• Collecting data and information for continuous improvement,
• Recently Technology such as (IoT), A I and data analytics have
transformed Maintenance Engineering and Management.
