Events: Corporate Social

business casual setting

Events: Corporate Tailgates

corporate sponsors

asked to reimburse expenses
 Typically held on a weekend to avoid missing classes
Engineering Open House
Sponsorship

 Companies can specify a type of project

or project idea they want to sponsor
through survey
 Students create project proposals with
budget breakdown to send to company in
January
 Companies choose which projects to
sponsor
 Can make changes to proposals if
necessary
 Company name displayed on poster
during EOH
 Company approves poster beforehand
Phase II – Other

 Contact Information
 Date Preferences
 General Meetings – Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
 Coffee Chats – Mid-morning to afternoon
 Tailgates – Home football games

Company’s Donation

 After agreement for sponsorship of events, tailor to company’s

optimal method of payment
 Most, if not all, companies prefer to use a credit card
 In our case, companies need to pay the College of Engineering
office in order to avoid transaction fees.
 From the College of Engineering, the donation needs to
transfer to the business office of the School of Chemical
Sciences, our department.
