may use rhyme, meter, or other literary devices to create a
song-like quality.

speaker.
• Some scholars categorize lyric poetry in three subtypes: Lyric
of Vision, Lyric of Thought, and Lyric of Emotion.

• This Lyrical Poetry mostly portrays what is mostly seen by our


naked eye.

It visions the surroundings and natural occurances


LYRIC OF THOUGHT

• This Lyrical Poetry mostly portrays what is thought and what


our mind possesses.

• Sometimes this shows the other side of our mind, in which


something is not perceivable.
LYRIC OF EMOTION

• This Lyrical Poetry mostly portrays what is mostly felt by the


writer.

• It is highly affected by tone and mood

• The most powerful type of Lyrical Poem which highly affects


the reader.
