BPBD DKI JAKARTA
Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD) is a disaster management
institution that was domiciled under and responsible to the Governor. The
leader of BPBD who was held ex officio by the Regional Secretary (Sekda),
and also under and responsible to the Governor.
Legal Basis:
• UU Nomor 24 Tahun 2007 tentang Penanggulangan Bencana ;
• Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 21 tahun 2008 tentang Penyelenggaraan Penanggulangan Bencana
• Pepres Nomor 8 tahun 2008 tentang Badan Nasional Penanggulangan Bencana;
• Permendagri Nomor 46 Tahun 2008 Pedoman Organisasi dan Tata Kerja Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah;
• Perka BNPB Nomor 3 tahun 2008 Pedoman Pembentukan Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah;
• Pergub Provinsi DKI Jakarta Nomor 67 Tahun 2008 Tentang Petunjuk Teknis Penanggulangan Bencana;
• Perda DKI Jakarta Nomor 9 Tahun 2011 tentang Badan Penanggulangan Bencana;
• Pergub Provinsi DKI Jakarta Nomor 26 Tahun 2011 tentang Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah;
• Perda No. 11 tahun 2013 tentang Organisasi dan Tata Kerja Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah;
• Pergub Provinsi DKI Jakarta Nomor 145 Tahun 2016 Tentang Organisasi dan Tata Kerja Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah

TUGAS BPBD
 Establish guidelines and directions in accordance with Regional Government and BNPB policies regarding
Disaster Management efforts which include pre-disaster, disaster emergency response and post-disaster
in a fair and equal manner and in accordance with needs and developments;
 Determining standardization as well as the need for Disaster Management in accordance with the
provisions of statutory regulations;
 Prepare, determine and inform disaster-prone maps;
 Compiling and establishing fixed procedures for disaster management;
 Carry out the implementation of disaster management in the area;
 Report the implementation of disaster management to the Regional Head every one month in normal
conditions and at any time in a disaster emergency;
 Controlling the collection and distribution of money and goods;
 Account for the use of the budget received from the APBD; and
 Carry out other obligations in accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations.

WEATHER WARNING EVALUATION
Evaluation of weather warnings is assessed based on the speed and
accuracy of information dissemination which is also reflected in the
preparedness of residents at locations identified by BMKG in the weather
warnings issued.

well at this time, from weather forecast information to early warnings
related to heavy rain or extreme weather.
