žOUR COMPANY PROMOTES SUSTAINABILITY

Parcelcopter is an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), which is also
known as ‘delivery drone’. It is utilized to transport packages,
food, medicine, documents or other goods, with the help of using
commercials UAV’s (unmanned aerial vehicle), such as taco-
copter.
The taco delivery concept, with taco-copter, is based on a smart
phone app or web.
METHODOLOGY
The work of delivery of the order by drone, involves here the circuitry with Arduino MEGA
(The Arduino Mega is a microcontroller board based on the ATmega2560. It has 54 digital
input/output pins), with the Arduino interfaced with GPS, GSM 900, mini servo, 4x4
membrane keypad, and SD card slot.
When the order is placed using the website, after entering the details like mail id, mobile
number and location of delivery, a pin is generated which will be sent to the ordering
person and one to the GSM which is on the drone. Arduino will fetch the pin and location
and will direct command to drone to fly to the location once the parcel is ready to deliver.
Once the drone starts from its location the GPS will start tracking
the location of the drone and store the data in SD card, the GPS
which is also interfaced to Arduino. When the drone reaches to
the location, the need to enter the pin as pass code, which was
sent at time of ordering , to release the parcel.
If the pin matches, the parcel will get released from some locking
mechanism otherwise the drone won’t release the parcel and will
return back to the source location. If the location at which the
drone reached is wrong, and even if the OTP entered is right it
won’t release the parcel.
SERVICE NETWORK
CAPITAL INVESTMENT AND BUDGET
When deciding whether the drone system will be a cost-effective form of technological
development, one must consider all costs required for implementing and running a
drone delivery system. One of the first and most costly expenses associated with the
system will be the initial capital investment in the drones.
•One would need to invest in it, at least 50 drones at the start of the program. We will
assume it to be a total of 50 drones. The cost of the drone will range between Dhs.
11,000 to Dhs. 18,000 each. With an average of Dhs. 14,000 multiplied by the required
50 drones, the total capital investment is predicted to be around Dhs. 700,000.
LABOUR SAVING INNOVATION
As seen in the graph above, would switch from isoquant Q1 to
isoquant Q2, using more capital and less labor in production. As a
result, the ratio of capital to labor is higher than before. We will
use this shift from labor to capital to increase drone production
and thereby create a new delivery product line. Increasing the
budget and thus raising the budget line would lead to a higher
isoquant.
REVENUE AND BRAKE EVEN POINT
Revenue: The main way to generate revenue for this organization is the monthly
invoiced amount to its customers. We have to get an annual contract with leading
organizations such as DHL, Amazon, Aster Medical and pharmacy network, NMC
hospital, supermarkets such as Lulu, Carrefour, Spinneys and major restaurants like
Pizza Hut, KFC, etc…
Our customers will be benefited through reducing the manpower, labour cost, HR
management and HR related cost, if they opt our service to deliver the goods. Our
customers will be benefited through reduction of operating cost and a part of that will
be shared with us.
Revenue development:
•The first three months would be used to get the potential
customers who can contribute average AED. 3,000/- per month.
•The next step is to increase the market and get more customers
and increase the average per customer income to AED. 5,000/-
•50 drones can serve 200 customers monthly with an average
revenue AED. 600,000 (200 x AED. 3,000 average).
•The first quarter 30 customers, second quarter 50 customers,
third quarter 75 customers and fourth quarter 100 customers. So
the first year a total of 100 customers. Within 3 years the number
of customers will reach 200.
THREE YEARS CUSTOMER DEVOLPMENT
FIRST YEAR REVENUE DEVOLPMENT
SECOND THIRD YEAR REVENUE
DEVOLPMENT
•Variable operating cost for 50 drones average @ 50 AED per day
(total AED. 75,000 per month and AED. 900,000 yearly
