[Test Launch Customer Survey

Results]
Summary

Sauce and Spoon conducted a survey for the 50 customers that participated in the test
launch.

For the test launch, the customers were asked to engage with the newly implemented
tablets, as if they were participating in a typical restaurant experience.

The customers were sent a digital survey after their experience ended.
Overview

1. We wanted to measure dining experience with tablets and evaluation indicator was 50% more likely to
refer it to friends
2. We wanted to measure tablet error logs and evaluation indicator was maximum 1 error per shift
3. We wanted to measure accuracy of customer order that was served and evaluation indicator was 98% to
receive what they ordered
4. We wanted to measure wait time in the lobby before they are seated and evaluation indicator was guests
with shorter wait times are 20% more likely to visit often.
Findings

The data reveals that 28% of


users felt their order was
wrongly delivered and reasons
were
● wrong order was brought out
● did not leave out the
requested ingredient
● over cooked
● substitutions were not
honoured
Next Steps

1. Have a meeting with the staff to discuss the way we can improve the onboarding
experience for new customers when waiters are instructing them on the new
tablets.
2. Make the tablet more user friendly

I also recommend if we can improve our software to have options for mobile pay, google pay, apple pay,
touchless pay, cash, gift card, credit and debit card options to help all kinds of customers.
