Project Summary
The S&S Digital Menu Tablet Rollout Pilot Project aims to implement a fully integrated
tablet system at two of its restaurant locations, Sauce & Spoon North and Sauce &
Spoon Downtown at the bar area, providing guests with a seamless ordering
experience, while improving the restaurant's ticketing system and overall efficiency.
The project will help reduce costs and errors, enhance customer satisfaction, and
provide valuable data to help the restaurant achieve its business goals. This is
intended to start at the beginning of quarter two.
Project Goals
Deliverables
● Develop and install the digital menu and point-of-sale (POS) system at each
table.
● Test the system to ensure it is functioning correctly and meets the project
goals.
● Train staff on how to use the new system and provide support as needed.
● Collect and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and track progress
towards project goals.
● Implement changes based on data insights to continually improve the system
and the guest experience.
● Communicate the benefits of the new system to customers and promote its
use.
● Evaluate the success of the project and identify areas for further improvement.
● Develop a plan for expanding the system to other restaurant locations if the
pilot is successful.
In-Scope:
● The pilot project will roll out tabletop menu tablets at two of its restaurant
locations, Sauce & Spoon North and Sauce & Spoon Downtown at the bar area
and collect valuable data to help Sauce & Spoon meet its business goals. It will
include the development and implementation of a training program, installation
of the tablets, testing and data analysis, regular updates to stakeholders, and
ongoing maintenance and support.
Out-of-Scope:
● The pilot project will not involve the entire restaurant and any changes to the
restaurant's menu or food preparation processes. It will also not involve any
major renovations or changes to the physical layout of the restaurants.
