Subj: Request for rollout expansion

Hi Seydou,

Thank you so much for meeting with me the other day. As someone who specializes in
implementing technology that streamlines processes and improves the guest experience, I
sincerely value your input.

As we’ve discussed, Omar and Deanna have asked that we expand the rollout of the tablets
from the bar area to the entire restaurant. I’m currently negotiating with them in an attempt to
keep this project within our agreed-upon scope, and am hoping I can count on you for
support.

During our conversation the other day, you mentioned that your experience with other clients
suggested that piloting at the bar is usually lower risk than other areas. You also stated that,
with other restaurants, you’d observed diners in sections with tablets really do tend to order
more, and it might make sense to let the kitchen scale up their operations more gradually to
meet the increased demand.

I agree with both of your assertions regarding the rollout, and plan to bring both points up to
Omar and Deanna during my negotiation with them.

Any help you can provide in convincing Omar and Deanna to stick with the original plan would
be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Subj: Request for rollout expansion

Hi Gilly,

Thank you so much for meeting with me the other day. As someone who has been in the
restaurant industry her whole career and has the love and respect of the Sauce & Spoon staff,
I sincerely value your input.

As we’ve discussed, Omar and Deanna have asked that we expand the rollout of the tablets
from the bar area to the entire restaurant. I’m currently negotiating with them in an attempt to
keep this project within our agreed-upon scope, and am hoping I can count on you for
support.

During our conversation the other day, we talked about how even though expanding the
rollout will yield more accurate metrics and generate much larger profits if successful, the
benefits may not outweigh the risks. Specifically, we discussed how an expanded rollout
would require pushing back the timeline, paying for more tablets and wiring, and definitely
more back of house hires.

You stated that, when taking all of those factors into consideration, it makes the most sense to
pilot the tablets in just one area first. I agree with you, and plan to bring these factors up to
Omar and Deanna during my negotiation with them.

Any help you can provide in convincing Omar and Deanna to stick with the original plan would
be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!
