Tablet Test Launch Evaluation

Summary
● A test of the table top menu tablet has been completed in the bar sections of the north and
downtown locations.
● 50 customers used the tablets and replied to a survey on the implementation.
Overview
The objective of the test launch was to measure:

1. Ticket time for appetizers


2. Ticket time for entrees
3. Table turn time
4. Check out time
5. Order accuracy
6. Lobby wait time

In addition, the team wanted to record any other issues customers had.
Findings

54% of those surveyed waited over 15 minutes for a table.


This is well below our goal of 10 minutes or less
Next Steps
Recommendation
● Prior to the tablet rollout, we must increase customer understanding of how to use the tablet.
● This is the most efficient way for us to shorten the time the customers sit at the table.
Next Steps
● The team will meet to educate staff on tablet use and improve their methods for educating
customers.
● The team will also meet to determine if revisions are needed to the tablet design to improve
useability.
