Program (WODP)
The Workers Organization Development
Program (WODP) serves as a facilitating
mechanism in strengthening trade unions and other
workers’ organizations. It provides an opportunity
for systemic learning and growth aiming at greater
productivity, prosperity and welfare to the employer,
workers’ organization and its members and their
dependents.

Coverage of WODP
According to the Department Order No. 203, Series of 2019,
legitimate workers’ organizations shall refer to the following:

Labor organizations registered with DOLE in accordance with RULE III and IV of D.O. 40-03, as

General Conditions in the Availment of WODP Grants
Application of WODP Training and Scholarship grant shall be filed with the DOLE Office
which Issued its certificate of registration/local creation.
Comply with the requirements for Sponsoring Workers shall guarantee
accreditation. that the required Liquidation documents
is submitted to the DOLE Implementing

Provisions Specific to Scholarship Grant

An officer/member of a worker organization


can only avail one (1) SCHOLARSHIP
GRANT.
The Scholar is encourage to enroll in a state
universities or colleges.

The scholar shall complete the course in accordance


with the number of years set by CHED for each course
or required by TESDA program.
The Scholar may be allowed to transfer to another school
based on justifiable reason/s and only ONCE.

The Scholar may likewise allowed to change course but only

liquidation documents required by the DOLE.
