Domain Name

• Is a website name
• Domain name can be any combination of letters and numbers, and it
can be used in combination of the various domain name extensions,
such as .com, .net and more.
• Example : google.com, youtube.com, ect
IP (Internet Protocol) Address
• Is an identifying number that is associated with a specific computer or
computer network
• IPv4 defines an IP address as a 32-bit number. Because of the growth
of the Internet there is a new version of IP (IPv6), using 128 bits for
the IP address
• Example :
IPv4 : 1.160.10.240
IPv6 : 3ffe:1900:4545:3:200:f8ff:fe21:67cf
Hypertext Transfer Protocol
• Is an application protocol for distributed, collaborative, hypermedia
information systems that allows users to communicate data on the
World Wide Web.
• Another variant of HTTP is HTTPS

• URL is used to specify addresses on the World Wide Web.
