SFC WORKING THRUST FOR 2021
AND BEYOND
EVANGELIZATION
EVANGELIZATION

BASIC PREMISES:
During the Year-end Planning the SFC International Core Team
considered various challenges on the ground mostly relating to:

• Untrained leaders
• Not following protocols on appointment, and
• Lack of gateway evangelization avenues
All of which when concretely addressed could propel SFC
evangelization and successfully arrest decline in SFC Membership.
EVANGELIZATION

RESOLUTIONS:
a. Establish a Process of Appointing Leaders and Couple
Coordinators
i. Detailed qualification of leaders and couple coordinators
ii. Review and implement proper appointment of leaders and
couple coordinators
iii. Leaders and couple coordinators to undergo the basic
training (HHO/ UHO/ CLO/ CCO) before appointment
EVANGELIZATION

RESOLUTIONS:
b. Create a Mentoring Culture in SFC
i. Create a module for Mentoring
ii. All leaders and couple coordinators to undergo the
Mentors Training
iii. Leaders to identify at least 3 members to Mentor starting
from the time of their appointment
iv. Leaders to create a 2-year pastoral plan for their mentees

RESOLUTIONS:
c. Redesign Evangelization Training of SFC
i. Revise the SFC Evangelization Training
ii. Incorporate practice of traditional way of evangelization such
as House to House Evangelization, Evangelization Rally (incl.
motorcade), Person to Person Evangelization and
Announcement and Leafleting during Masses.
iii. Mandate SFC Plus to all leaders and members every CLP.

RESOLUTIONS:
d. Rationalize SFC Evangelization Programs to Attract other Singles
i. Live Catholic to be an avenue for each Chapter to deepen involvement to
the Parishes
ii. Live Catholic to improve on Media and start collaborations
iii. FIG-S to develop programs on Relationships/TOB teachings that are open
to public
iv. Corporate Evangelization will be partnering with institutions in conducting
Employee Development Seminars as a gateway for evangelization
v. Capitalize on Social Media as an important tool for gateway evangelization
vi. Work on monitoring and full implementation of seamless transition

• Pastoral Formation, notably low attendance in CPA with CFC
and CTN/GMT
• Low number of consistent tithe givers and
• Leadership training not conducted properly
All of which when concretely addressed could propel SFC’s Pastoral Formation
efforts and successfully arrest any decline in SFC membership.

RESOLUTIONS:
a. SFC Chapter Teachings
i. Create additional training for Chapter Leaders and
Chapter Couple Coordinators to be fully equipped in
leading the Chapter Assemblies
ii.Get the best speakers for the Chapter Teachings.
Implement new speakers training to all leaders.

RESOLUTIONS:
b. Roll-out the 2-year SFC Financial Stewardship teachings
c. Proper Conduct of Leadership Trainings
d. Identify and Redesign SFC Formation Retreats that can be
offered to the public
e. Develop a Work with the Poor Retreat to be included in Stage
1 formations
f. Implement once a week Family HH and no activity on Sundays

During the Year-end Planning, the SFC International Core
Team took note of the need to fully comply to the OGD to
address the:
• Poor monitoring and quality of reports and
• The need to retrain the SFC Leaders and Coordinators

RESOLUTIONS:
a.Communicate OGD utilization as a Pastoral Tool not just
a function or requirement
i. Ensure enrollment of all the areas to the OGD
ii. Require the use of the Service Meeting Report from
the OGD in all monthly service meetings. SMR format
to be created by the MIST.
iii. OGD as the only source of Ministry Report in all areas

RESOLUTIONS:
b. Retrain Couple Coordinators and Leaders for greater
appreciation of the OGD and to change the mindset on
monitoring and reporting system
i. OGD Appreciation and Training
ii. Household heads and up to attend Leaders Assembly which
shall be conducted quarterly.
iii. Chapter Leaders and Chapter Couple Coordinators to be
faithful in attending Singles Core Assemblies
