DEFINITION

Types of a definition
Love is defined as a profound personal affection and a feeling of
desire towards a person or a thing. It came from Old English lufu; akin
to Old High German luba love, Old English lēof dear, Latin lubērē,
libērē to please.

Love is something that means very different things to different people.

For some, love can be purely romantic, or even purely sexual. For others,
real love is utterly unconditional and only truly exists between family
members, or between people and a deity. And for some people, love is
fluid, ever changing, and everywhere, and is felt for family, friends,
partners, pets, and even inanimate objects.

Cause and Effect

Today, polar ice caps are melting causing water levels to rise. The rise
threatens the low-lying areas across continents which will be exposed to immense
flooding and contaminated water supply. Climate around the world is also
changing. In the Philippines, the rise in temperature both at day and night-time,
has been observed to be more frequent. Extreme weather disturbances have
occurred more often as well. Indeed, global warming adversely affects all possibly
without us even noticing it.
